MANILA, Philippines -- Fishermen on board a Vietnamese
fishing vessel loaded with sea turtles were arrested by maritime
authorities at the West Philippine Sea off Palawan, intelligence sources
revealed.
The fishing vessel was apprehended southwest off Martinez
Point, Balabac Island. It was loaded with at least two sea turtles. The
fishing vessel will be escorted by authorities to land for the filing
of appropriate charges.
