MANILA, Philippines — The USS Blue Ridge, the flagship of the United
States Seventh Fleet, docked at the Manila South Harbor around 9 am
Friday for a routine port call and a four-day goodwill visit.
The US Embassy said that the US carrier’s visit would highlight the
strong historic, community, and military connections between the United
States and the Republic of the Philippines.
