Philippines to get second warship from the United States

BAGUIO CITY — The Philippines may receive its second warship from the United States this May, the country’s Navy chief disclosed Saturday.
If things go as scheduled, the second Hamilton Class Cutter from the Coast Guard will arrive in May or anytime within the year, Vice Admiral Alexander Pama said.
The first Hamilton Class Cutter arrived last year and was christened the BRP Gregorio del Pilar.
Pama, however, could not say where the warship will be deployed.
