Police: Air Force man killed in Batangas shooting incident

A member of the Philippine Air Force was killed in Batangas province after being shot by a civilian said to be a security aide of a Cavite mayor, police said Wednesday.
PO2 Ramon Sale of the Nasugbu, Batangas police said the incident occurred in Wawa village when the PAF man and two of his companions saw the security aide kicking their pet dog.
Bumunot umano ng baril ang sibilyan," Sale said in an interview on dzBB radio.
He did not immediately identify the PAF men and the alleged bodyguard involved, but said the alleged bodyguard is now under tight police watch at a hospital.
He said only one of the PAF men was armed, with the other two fleeing the scene.
Asked if the man who kicked the dog was a bodyguard of a Cavite mayor, he would not give a direct answer.

He said the PAF member suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. — LBG, GMA News
